SUMMARY:TLP Turns Four: The One with the Tournament
DESCRIPTION:Pre-Registration Link: https://forms.gle/wHgKcWNYErEcCfY5A\nTournament Details\n\nNovember 14\, 2026 at the Lower Playfield in Goffstown NH.\nThis event will be IFPA sanctioned at an estimated 128% TGP.\nDoors at 10 AM\, Tournament starts at 11.\nTarget Matchplay Tournament (7-5-3-1) to 46 (or 10 rounds)\, alternating between short play/long play.\nThis tournament is limited to 32 players.\nRegistration will begin Saturday\, October 10th at Noon.\nIt’s a party! Complimentary sparkling juice or champagne mimosas to kick the tournament off!\n$35 per player ($20 Main Tournament entry\, $15 house fee (for trophies\, free play\, electricity offset\, snacks and drinks\, and IFPA endorsement fees)) is due via Paypal/Venmo within one week of registration.\n\nIt’s time to celebrate another lap around the sun with the last tournament of the year at TLP — it’s our Anniversary! \n \nTournament will be a target matchplay tournament where the first 8 players to hit 46 total points will make it to the finals. Games will alternate between short play (“classics and asswhoopers”) and long play (“moderns and marathons”) until the target is reached. As soon as one player hits the target\, pairings will immediately change to swiss for subsequent rounds. After 10 rounds\, should 8 players not have hit the target\, the top 8 players will advance to finals. Seeding will be total points by number of rounds crossed to hit the target. Players will not be considered tied unless they have the same number of points in the same round. Example: a player that has 48 points after round 8 has a higher seed than a player that has 47 points after round 8 – they are not tied for position. Should there be a tie for a top 2 position or to make finals\, it will be broken by a random short play game. \nFinals will be 4 player groups of 3 games. For Anniversary\, we’re bringing back Build-A-Bank™ Finals! High seed will have choice of Game 1 and 3\, and order of play for the entire round\, and play order will be locked before play starts. The second highest seed in each group will have choice of the second game in each round. Games will be selected from three columns of games\, and only one game per column can be selected. Selected games may not be selected by that player for the remainder of the finals\, should they have the opportunity to select games again! \nBased on our prior tournaments\, we expect that the target portion will take between 4 to 4.5 hours\, and the finals for the last 8 should wrap up in about 2 hours after that. \nPlayers who have Registered (manually updated\, please be patient)\n\nDerek Correia (Paid)\nJordan Knights (Paid)\nZoe Vrabel (Speed Reading/Puzzle Solving champion) (paid)\nJeremy Corson\nJeffrey Pinard (paid)\nVince Vitiello (paid)\nLindsay Cole (paid)\nDrew Dolan (paid)\nChris Brunette (paid)\nCourtney Bazarian (paid)\nAshley Carroll (paid)\nBrian O’Neill (paid)\nDaniel Rone (paid)\nAllisyn Lumaye (paid)\nJames McFatter (paid)\nArlo Mcginty (paid)\nSean Lumaye (paid)\nBrian McGinty (paid)\nDerek Carroll (paid)\nAllison O’Neill (paid)\nTim Gillogly (paid)\nBill Macdonald (paid)\nJoe Lemire (cash)\nMicah Weston (paid)\nZachary Holt (paid)\nFrank Denu (paid)\nAnthony Kret\nAdam Meader (cash)\nJody Stahlman (paid)\nWill Parks (paid)\nMike Havens (paid)\nJulia Barnes-Brown (paid)\n\nWaitlist\n\nSarah Finn\nBill McHugh\nJosh Moran\nMichael Corbett\nZheanna Murray\nNoah Crable\nKim Musgrave\nColeman Papa-Musgrave\nCody Gamache\nWill Prescott\n\nNotified\, no response\n\n\n\nRegistration\n\nRegistration will begin Saturday\, October 10th at Noon.\nAt that time\, the registration link posted above will activate.
