SUMMARY:Five Dollar Ping Pong - 3 Strike Tournament
DESCRIPTION:Pre-Registration Link: Here (opens 2/23 at noon)\nTournament Details\n\nMarch 16th\, 2025 at the Lower Playfield in Goffstown NH.\nThis event will be IFPA sanctioned at an anticipated 88% TGP.\nThis event is NOT part of the 2025 Ice Ice Playfield Championship Series. More information at the IIP Page here.\nDoors at 10 AM\, Tournament starts at 11 AM.\n3 strike tournament (4 player groups – 3rd and 4th get strike\, 3 player groups 3rd gets strike)\, alternating “short play” and “long play” games.\nThis tournament is limited to 32 players.\nRegistration will begin February 23rd at noon.\n$25 per player ($15 Main Tournament entry\, $10 house fee (for trophies\, free play\, electricity offset\, snacks and drinks\, and IFPA endorsement fees)) is due via Paypal/Venmo within one week of registration.\n\nThe people have asked for Sunday tournaments. The people have asked for shorter tournaments. So let’s try it. We want to see all you shorter time commitment people show up and we’ll run more shorter tournaments! And everyone has a chance to win some money coming back! \nA unique 3-strike knockout tournament! Upon entry\, every player will receive 3 poker chips worth $5 each. We will play 4 player match play games — in the first round\, groups will be Seeded by IFPA rank and slaughter paired\, from 2nd round on they will be Swiss Paired. If you come in 3rd or 4th in a 4 player group (or 3rd in a 3 player group)\, you will earn a strike. Players in position 3 and 4 will also give a chip to the players in positions 1 and 2 (3 players: 3rd gives a chip to 1st). After you’re eliminated\, turn any remaining chips in and get $5 back for every chip you have remaining! \nWe anticipate roughly 12 rounds of play — though some players will be eliminated earlier than others! We anticipate the last players will wrap up around 5pm\, and the first players eliminated will be around 2pm.
