Tournament Details
- October 11th, 2025 at the Lower Playfield in Goffstown NH.
- This event will be IFPA sanctioned at 192% TGP.
- This event is part of the 2025 Ice Ice Playfield Championship Series. More information at the IIP Page here.
- Doors at 10 AM, Tournament starts at 11.
- 6 rounds of 3 game sets, with two classic games per round. Balanced pairing for rounds 1 through 5, swiss pairing on round 6.
- This tournament is limited to 32 players.
- Registration will begin September 20th at noon.
- $35 per player ($20 Main Tournament entry, $15 house fee (for trophies, free play, electricity offset, snacks and drinks, and IFPA endorsement fees)) is due via Paypal/Venmo within one week of registration.
The fan favorite tournament returns (with some minor tweaks). Classics Concentration puts the focus on the games we love the most: The Classics! Players will play in groups of 4 in 6 rounds of 3 game sets (Classic, Modern, Classic) scored 7-5-3-1. The first 5 rounds will be balanced pairings, and the final round will be swiss paired. After 6 rounds, we will take the top 8 players to finals for additional rounds of 3 game sets scored 4-2-1-0. Players eliminated in the first round of finals will play a 3-game, ladder format to determine final standings 5-8, with 5th and 6th place taking home money as well.
For the purposes of this tournament, the following games will be considered classics and be played in classics rounds:

We will run a game of prize money stallball for all before the finals get underway, and you’re of course welcome to stay and play freeplay after the tourney ends for a bit as well!
We anticipate, based on past tournaments, the Matchplay portion to take roughly 5 to 6 hours, and the finals to take an additional two hours. We have similar formats before and feel reasonably confident in these time estimates.

Registration
- Registration will begin Saturday, September 20th at noon.
- At that time, the registration link posted above will activate. Please open the form ahead of time and refresh the form if you are trying to register at open.
- If you registered and can’t make it, please let us know as soon as possible!
- Once we hit our player cap, we will maintain a wait list and will contact you directly at the e-mail you provided during registration should a spot become available. You aren’t required to pay or under any obligation to attend if you are contacted off the waitlist. If you’re on the waitlist and can no longer make it, please feel free to let us know!
- Once your name appears in the registered list above, please pay your entry fee within 1 week of registration to either:

- If you have played here before and can’t pay online, we will accept cash the day of tournament. Please e-mail us to let us know you are planning to pay day of after registering. If at all possible, please pay online to help us get all payments organized ahead of time. Thank you!
- All entry fees are fully refundable up to 1 week before the tournament. Just e-mail us at hello@thelowerplayfield.com.
- After the 1 week prior, your entry is refundable less the house fee portion. Thank you for your understanding.

Prize Schedule
Assuming a full field of 32 players, the payouts will be:
- 1st place: $200
- 2nd: $140
- 3rd: $100
- 4th: $60
- 5th: $40
- 6th: $30
- 7th and 8th: $20 each
- $10 of scratchers will be distributed to non-finalists!
One game of Stallball will be run for all participants and will award $10 to the winner, and $10 to the last remaining non-finalist. If that’s the winner, they get $20!
