Tournament Details

• June 21st, 2025 at the Lower Playfield in Goffstown NH.
• This event will be IFPA sanctioned at an estimated 136% TGP.

• Doors at 10 AM, Tournament starts at 11.
• Pace Match Play qualifier, 3  strict/fast strike knockout finals.
• This tournament is limited to 32 players.
• Registration will begin May 3rd at noon.
• $25 per player ($15 Main Tournament entry, $10 house fee (for trophies, free play, electricity offset, snacks and drinks, and IFPA endorsement fees)) is due via Paypal/Venmo within one week of registration.

We’re back with a new format — pace matchplay! Think of it as a match play qualifier with a sense of dread: a pace car behind you at all times! Play will be done in balanced pairings all day, starting on a long play game and alternating each round between shorter and longer playing games. Scoring will be 7-5-3-1, or 7-4-1 in 3 player groups, for each round.

At the end of the 7th round, the pace will become active at 22 points. All players below the pace line will be eliminated, and all players above the pace line will play again. Each round, the pace line goes up 7 points. Win your next round and you’re safe for sure — anything else, and you better hope you banked up enough points to continue!

Play will continue until we conclude a round at 12 players (or fewer!). The remaining players will start a 3 strike elimination final. Initial seedings will carry over, and first round arenas will be chosen by the highest seeds in each group. Pairing for that first round will be slaughter based on pace standings. From the second round on, pairings will be swiss, and arenas will cycle between fast and short games. Strikes will be given out in strict (or “fast”) strike pairings: The bottom 2 players in each game will receive a strike (for both 3 and 4 player groups).

This is a new format, but we have some guesses on how long this will take. We expect to get down to 12 players in the pace portion in about 10 rounds (roughly 4 to 4.5 hours), with people being eliminated after round 7 (roughly 3 hours in). Strikes will depend on how many players make it through, but we expect about 8 rounds to crown a champion (around 2 and a half to 3 hours). These are estimates, but you’re guaranteed at least 7 rounds of play and you might be here longer. It should be fun and tense the whole way, but if you are sensitive to time, please note that our estimates are, at best, guesstimates for this one.

• Registration will begin Saturday, May 3rd at 12 Noon.
• At that time, the registration link posted above will activate. Please open the form ahead of time and refresh the form if you are trying to register at open.
• If you registered and can’t make it, please let us know as soon as possible!
• Once we hit our player cap, we will maintain a wait list and will contact you directly at the e-mail you provided during registration should a spot become available. You aren’t required to pay or under any obligation to attend if you are contacted off the waitlist. If you’re on the waitlist and can no longer make it, please feel free to let us know!
• Once your name appears in the registered list above, please pay your entry fee within 1 week of registration to either:

Prize Schedule

Assuming a full field of 32 players, the payouts will be:

• 1st: $150
• 2nd: $110
• 3rd: $80
• 4th: $50
• Survivor Pool: $90 will be split amongst players that cross the pace line but don’t make the top 4. For example, if 10 players make the finals, the 6 players who make finals but aren’t in the top 4 will split $90 6 ways, or $15 each.
